Commercial Assistant – Customs Clearance & International Logistics (m/f/d)

Challenges you will tackle:

  • You will be responsible for handling all customs procedures from start to finish.
  • You will liaise closely with authorities, freight forwarders and customers on customs and logistics matters.
  • You will help to continuously improve our processes and take on project-related tasks.
  • You will work closely with site management and support them, for example, by producing reports, maintaining internal databases, making SAP entries and coordinating warehouse operations.

Qualifications that convince us:

  • You have several years’ experience in handling imports and exports and hold relevant further training qualifications or certificates.
  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, for example as a freight forwarding clerk, a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk or an industrial clerk.
  • You are familiar with MS Office.
  • Ideally, you will have some initial experience in lorry clearance, coordinating drivers or yard management.
  • This role offers opportunities for development and requires independence, a sense of responsibility and a willingness to work hard.
  • You are fluent in spoken and written German and English. Knowledge of other foreign languages is not essential, but would be an advantage.
